BABY JAZZ is the collaboration between Golden Chow (Samuel Cooper of Sunglasses) and Teen Wolfe (Elgin Braden of Aux Arc). They teamed up to create BABY JAZZ, a new project where they’re releasing individual singles to be collected for a full-length album that will come with a companion comic book.
They first caught the blog world by storm with the incredible 12 minute jam, “Michael Jordan”. Now they are back with “Billy Ocean”, a song that’s part ambient, part electronic drowsiness. I imagine that this is what the world sounds like when we’re all in a deep state of sleep. Sound a bit like Animal Collective at parts.
Bad Panda Records, who released the song, called it a “spaghetti western reggae songâ€. Groovy.
