Smith Westerns have given us “Weekend” the first taste off their new album Dye It Blonde. It’s the cheery eyed guitar anthem “Weekend” that sounds like the release of good feelings that were contained inside, for way too long.
This is the first taste of the less lo-fi (more studio time and $$) Smith Westerns, and the result is something magnificent. This is a lovely tune. I can’t wait to see what other gems Dye It Blonde brings.
