My Morning Jacket are known for their legendary live shows, and it looks like they can add more impressive live feats to their resume. The band has just announced a 5 day residency at NYC’s Terminal 5 from Oct 18th-Oct 23rd. Each night they will play one of their album’s it it’s entirety. They will start with their debut The Tennessee Fire, and then go chronologically to Evil Urges. After the band’s performance of the whole album they will mix in other cuts from various albums.
This is going to be some serious stuff. My Morning Jacket don’t mess around. I am seriously thinking about going to the show for Z. That album was my best friend back in 2005. I lived off it.
Tickets will go on sale June 18th at noon for individual shows. There is even an option to attend all 5 shows. That is pretty intense.
