It’s noon but I just woke up (I have no class today). I didn’t get good sleep, and I honestly feel like death. I am done with school this Friday, but I have a ton of work to do today & the rest of the week before I can get to Friday. Having two new Wolf Parade songs would certainly make the week go by faster. That is exactly what happened, and I honestly couldn’t be happier.

Today Pitchfork posted “Ghost Pressure” & “What Did My Lover Say? (It Always Had to Go This Way)”, two brand new songs from their upcoming 3rd album Expo 86. “Ghost Pressure” is the Dan song, while “What Did My Lover Say? (It Always Had to Go This Way)” is the Spencer song. “Ghost Pressure” is a playful synth song that will surely remind some of Handsome Furs. Add in the rest of Wolf Parade and you got quite a song. “What Did My Lover Say?” is a guitar driven piece that sounds like a trimmed down “Kissing The Beehive”. Both songs are good teasers, that will hold me over for now. I am truly dying to hear the rest of Expo 86 though, and hopefully I will get the chance soon.
