This isn’t quite “brand new” Voxtrot, but unless you follow the band religiously like me, you probably didn’t hear about their relatively small new single release. The single is called “Berlin, Without Return”. It also contains the b-side “The Dream Lives of Ordinary People”. The vinyl release came out June 29th & was limited to 400 copies, while the digital release came out on August 3rd.
The single got some decent appreciation from devoted Voxtrot bloggers, but definitely not the same type of blog love that their debut EP’s got. It may be because a lot of people were disappointed with their debut album and lost hope. That is a damn shame, because this single release is very, very, solid. Both songs are equally awesome, bringing back the same feelings that their EP brought.
These are good, good, feelings.
Anyone who was disappointed with their album, needs not to worry. The Voxtrot that you love is back.
