We all know that I am a tad bit obsessed with Arctic Monkeys. That is old news. What is new however is the songs that the Arctic Monkeys have been playing live. We already got the studio version of “Crying Lightning” today, and now I came across a great quality version of “Potion Approaching”. It used to be called Go-Kart, but now they have retitled it to “Potion Aproaching”.
I approve of this song greatly. It is very jumpy, and changes pacing frequently. It almost seems like 5 different songs pieced together. You will notice that the boys are using backing vocals a lot more, such as in this song with some “ooh oohs”. It seems like 5 different songs pieced together.
I hope you guys are enjoying this little coverage of their new album Humbug. I will keep going until the album is out!
