Kicking is an alternative/grunge band based in Jackson, Mississippi who have recently shared their latest EP, Nothing Personal, featuring tracks such as single and EP highlight, “Reprieve.”
The track channels big chugging and anthemic guitar riffs that have a mix of garage rock and punk bite with some classic rock and 90s grunge inspiration. The powerhouse vocals and crunchy guitar work recalls some early days Sleater-Kinney with a combination of dark atmosphere yet infectious and seductive vocal work that has a sneaky way of getting stuck in your head.
