New York singer-songwriter Maya Hawke recently released her new album, Maitreya Corso, and stopped into Bowery Ballrom on May 2nd for an “evening with” performance as a part of her tour in support of the new record.
Hawke was joined by a live band that includes husband Christian Lee Hutson and violinist Odessa Jorgensen, as they ran through the album in full as well as a handful of older selections in a stripped down acoustic fashion. The intimate Bowery Ballroom was the perfect setting for the new material, allowing Hawke to cast an enchanting spell on the sold out audience.
