Grogg are a Scottish garage-punk 3-piece who have recently returned with their single “Quickie”, the first taken from their upcoming sophomore EP.

The track captures a no-nonsense punk attitude with some hard-hitting guitar work that has an awesome biting attitude in the vein of early The Hives with a sharp blitzing post punk energy. There is a sense of urgency to the track, well-balanced with a more playful vocal style and delivery that is a perfect pairing with its rapterous rocking groove that leaves it all out there. We can only imagine the sweaty craziness that hearing this song live would produce.

Speaking further on the track, the band adds:

Quickie is an ideal candidate of modern UK Post-Punk but with a tongue-in-cheek touch that provides a much needed bit of levity which lacks in many attempts today. The tension and energy is offset by the lyrical content and delivery style, while the rhythmic changes keep the listener on their toes. Our aim was to create something recognisable but also fresh and representative of our own sound which we believe to be unique and firmly Glasgow, Scotland-post-punk coded.
