Canadian singer-songwriter Shaina Hayes has recently returned with new single “Flourish”, a taste of her upcoming third studio album.

“Flourish” ia gentle folk-pop meditation on love, growth and the beauty of becoming who you are meant to. The idea for the song was inspired by Irish poet John O’Donohue’s book, Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom, where the concept of “flourishing” is described as becoming the fullest, most radiant version of oneself.

It’s a lush and gorgeously delivered folk-pop blend that is delivered with raw passion and delicate flourishes and production that prop it up with an authentic spirit. It carries the torch of artists like Big Thief, with a warmth and purposeful nature that has a stirring cinematic widescreen nature to it, while also delivering feelings of intimacy that hit you where it counts.
