San Francisco Bay Area-based independent record label Cherub Dream Records has recently released their split EP, Lucky Three, featuring tracks from Natasha Sandworms, Christina’s Trip, and Mox.
One of the highlights from the EP comes from San Jose-natives Natasha Sandworms, such as the very 90s-esque anthemic power of “Perfect Feeling.” It captures a raw essential garage rock power that features some early Speedy Ortiz qualities, a powerful anthemic emotional rocker that wears its heart on its sleeve.
Then there’s Oakland’s Christina’s Trip who deliver old school indie goodness on “F.B.A.T.” There is a more loose and free-flowing grooviness to it, delivering a blend of power pop with a shimmering golden shine to it. There’s a lush dreamy quality to the track that has no problem deliver its infectious qualities in a way that makes us dream of young love and an endless summer.
