Raw Honey is the long-term recording project of Maggie Hopp, a Ypsilanti, Michigan-based singer-songwriter that also currently includes Fred Thomas (guitar, drums), Jonathan Edwards (bass, guitar), and Juliano Bitonti (cello, production).

Their preparing for the release of their new EP and have recently returned with their single “The Key”, a song about “taking off into the unknown, leaving the familiar for the unfamiliar, and healing patterns of ancestral trauma.” It’s a bright shimmering blend of alt rock and folk with an artful pop nature that feels like a mix of Big Thief and Lucius in the way it delivers gorgeous qualities and rich production, while still delivering infectious unforgettable hooks.
