Psychic Guilt is a Portland-based post-punk duo blending elements of dream-pop, shoegaze, and darkwave that has recently shared their latest offering in single, “A Dark Dream.”
The track doesn’t waste time setting the tone with a haunted gothic atmosphere and energy that features a hypnotic set of production and instrumentation. There are classic 80s post punk qualities that cast a foggy ethereal soundscape that feels cinematic and full of lingering imagery and emotion. Despite its dark qualities, there is something raw and emotionally vulnerable which stands out above all.
