L.A. Sagne are a band from Amsterdam, Netherlands who have recently returned with a scorcher of a single in “Rampage”, taken from their upcoming album, Good Company, which will be released on March 27.
It’s a track about falling for someone and wanting to do every dumb little thing with them. There’s a scuzzy garage rock and punk rock energy to it in the vein of Amyl and The Sniffers with a fierce intensity, a fun playful nature, but also a hell of an onslaught of ripping guitar work, percussion and some addictive vocals that all add up to a perfect storm of punk rock perfection in the modern world.
Detailing the track, they add:
Rampage is a song about falling for someone and wanting to do every dumb little thing with them. The great stuff and the shitty stuff. It’s about going on a rampage and wanting to hold hands while doing it.
The track moves like a restless leg: quick and impatient. Put simply, it’s a love song. It just doesn’t behave like one.
