Lyfe Indoors is a solo project that is described as one that writes from “the seams of atmosphere and memory” as well as “playing the devil’s guitar, living by the sea.”

They have recently returned with single “Dark Sky Under the Avionics”, a song birthed from “a moment of feeling out of place.” It hones in on an atmospheric sense of place that has a dark yet hypnotic cinematic quality that was  inspired by watching aircraft lights cut through clouds. There’s a bit of a King Krule inspiration at play, that really features some experimental elements that immerse you in vibes, ones that we can totally get behind.

Speaking further on the track, they add:

‘Dark Sky Under the Avionics’ came from a moment of feeling out of place. I was at a party, feeling disconnected, and ended up finding comfort in watching planes pass above a cloudy night sky. The imagery stuck with me; technology, distance, and silence all layered together. I like keeping the song open-ended, though. It’s more about the feeling than a fixed meaning.
