Portland, Oregon-based artist Anna Tivel has shared a new single called “Swan Song.” It’s the first in a series of b-Sides from her 2025 album, Animal Poem.
“Swan Song” is a fragile folk-ballad that is described as a “rumination on ephemerality and all the ways this life will move us before the whole thing flies away.” There’s a delicate nature to the track that is ushered in with some much sincerity, with an air of sadness and reflection inwards. There’s a really pretty vocal inflection that is perfectly captured alongside the equally ruminative piano work that plays as a perfect partner in crime.
