Bung is a singer-songwriter and producer currently based in London who last week released their debut EP, Here too, where to.
One of the highlights off of the EP is “WHAT I’VE FOUND,” a song about “running up against a wall of yourself despite, or perhaps because of, your willingness to change”. There’s a hypnotic blend of experimental indie rock and pop that features a free spirit nature with traces of The Dirty Projectors in its navigation and almost deconstruction of what a pop song can be. Built with airy vocals, shifting artful expression that finds a way to still be every bit as commanding.
