Samuel Virgo is a Sheffield-based musician who recently caught our attention with “Laughing in the Wildnerness”.

He’s since returned with his latest single, “Seventeen”, another genre-bender of a track that blurs the lind of rap and post punk with a hypnotic and cinematic atmosphere that feels like a lost daydream that you forgot you had. There’s a compelling vision to his sound that pulls from the likes of King Kung and Fontaines D.C., that channels elements of 90s indie rock in the British scene, with modern flourishes that make it absolutely singular
