All Things Go is an annual fall music festival that started as a small one day event in Washington D.C. in 2014. Since then, the festival has expanded to a multi-day and multi-city event widely celebrated for its inclusive lineups and atmosphere. From the 26th through the 28th of September, over 50 bands and artists graced two stages at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland and provided countless hours of entertainment and memories to the tens of thousands of music fans in attendance.

Friday, although the shortest of the days that weekend, was in no way short on talent to see on stage. Highlights included Sharon Van Etten and the Attachment Theory playing a seemingly rare but stunning set during daylight hours, The Marías providing a moody and a spellbinding set on the Pavilion Stage, and the Last Dinner Party closing out the Chrysalis Stage with confidence and theatricality.

Saturday at the Merriweather Post Pavilion saw nearly eleven straight hours of live music, with a total of sixteen acts performing between the two stages on the grounds. Highlights included G-Flip showing off their prowess on both vocals and percussion (and even both at the same time), Clairo playing a laid-back set on a stage designed like a conversation pit, and headliner Lucy Dacus officiating the marriages of sixteen couples on stage during her song “For Keeps.”

Sunday’s schedule saw some disruptions due to Remi Wolf falling ill on stage the day before at the New York City edition of All Things Go. Despite some schedule shuffling and moving one act from the Chrysalis Stage to the Pavilion stage, the day went smoothly otherwise. Highlights included Ashe playfully spinning and crawling her way into the audience’s hearts early in the afternoon, Djo closing out the Chrysalis Stage with an atmospheric presence with respect to both music and lighting, and Doechii on the Pavilion Stage bringing infectious energy and beats whose thumping bass you could literally feel as the waves hit your body.
