Dublin-born songwriter Ailbhe Reddy has released new single “Align”, the first taken from her forthcoming album that Don Giovanni Records will release early in 2026.
It’s a slow burn electronic track with a melancholic and cinematic build, that has some gorgeous layers of electronic production that is a perfect fit for her heavenly vocals. It captures a sense of a bittersweet parting of ways, capturing the happy sad nature of artists like Beach House do to perfect, with flourishes of her own that allow it to stand tall in its own way.
On the song, Reddy shares:
“It’s about reaching the point where you can genuinely wish someone well, even if it still stings. Accepting that from here on out, you’ll only watch their life from afar and that, somehow, time might soften the hard feelings.”
