Artist to look out for Tyler Ballgame has announced that his debut album, For the First Time, Again, will be released on January 30th via Rough Trade Records. The album sports 12 songs that are rooted in classic rock, indie and Americana such as lead single “I Believe In Love.”
The single was released today, with a music video shot by Ballgame’s friends and roommates Joey Casale and Victoria Gagnaire Stein. The track, which was recorded live, capture an old school style of songwriting that channels greats like Roy Orbison with a timeless and essential sound that grabs you from the get go.
Speaking on the track, Ballgame adds:
“I had met [producer Jonathan] Rado and he told me to write the biggest song in the world, so I sat down at my kitchen table for two days and put the puzzle of the composition together. It’s turned into an anthem about love of love and the fools it makes,” he explains.
