SunYears, the project of Swedish musician Peter Morén (of Peter Bjorn and John), returned last month with his new album, The Song Forlorn, an album written as a lifeline during restless years.
“The Body” is a standout single from the album that features vocals from Nicole Atkins. It features a no-nonsense rock approach that hits with a raw power and authority that features a big biting garage rock crunch, blended with those ever-familiar perfect pop melodies that are his bread and butter, perfectly paired with a mysterious and seductive vocal performance from Atkins.
