Brooklyn-based indie rockers Project Diem returned last month with their new release, Dead Pop, via Shy Ruckus.
Kicking things off is opening track “Sitting Queen”, a hypnotic blend of dreamy indie rock and pop with a tactful and artful take on the genre that is fresh and reviving. It’s a bristling and bright-minded track with detailed textures and some sharp instrumentation that showcases a ton of depth, but never sacrificing a sneaky infectious nature that is quite frankly a hell of an impressive way to kick things off.
