Dylan Mondegreen is the moniker of Norwegian singer-songwriter Børge Sildnes, who has recently released his new single “Over You”, which will appear on his upcoming sixth album, A Sound Rings True, which will be released on September 5 by Japanese label Fastcut Records and his own label, Saiko.
“Over You” is a bittersweet jam that has qualities of retro pop songs of a different era, blended well with some bedroom pop qualities that deliver a sound that is equally chill as it is full of a sad melancholic undercurrent. It features some classic soul elemenets with some incredible well detailed production and flourishes to bring it to life. You can imagine this being a long lost classic that your parents fell in love with and rediscovered down the line.
