Lord Huron recently returned with their new concept album The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 and brought all of its ideas and influences to Madison Square Garden for their largest headlining show in New York City.
This tour saw the band up their game with a gorgeous cinematic stage set up that captures the themes of the new album and the entire aesthetic that the band have been gearing up towards since the pandemic. They also incorporated various performance art and theatrics to bring the sound to life which really helped them fill out MSG that much further.
They ran through a handful of the songs off the new record, as well as a solid mix from their entire discography, featuring many favorites such as “Meet Me in the Woods”, “The Night We Met” and “I Lied”, which saw them joined by Allisn Ponthier.
It’s been a pleasure to see the band’s growth over the years and get to play at The Garden and to completely seize the opportunity .
