Swimming Pool is the collaborative project of Klyl Shifroni and Seraina Fässler, a duo based between The Hague and Zürich. They’re preparing for the release of their debut EP, Line Cuts, on August 15, via Fog & Co.

They have recently released single “Sunday”, a song that explores the quiet absurdity of rituals such as, “rubbing a lucky coin, searching for four-leaf clovers, wishing on stars.”

The track features haunted cinematic strings (performed by Klyl Shifroni on bowed bass), that are a perfect lead in for the haunted yet hopeful lead vocals. The track has an artful and deliberate sparse quality that leaves a lingering presence, one with a vivid sense of place, like a memory that remains nearly perfectly intact, yet also seems impossibly distant at the same time.
