El Tee is an artist from Melbourne, Australia who shared her new EP, Kind Safe Cool, back in May.
One of the highlights of the EP is single “Always, Forever”, a track that “dissects love, self-worth, and heartbreak with unflinching clarity.” There’s a bit of a reflective melancholic indie rock quality to the track with a heartfelt emotional core, reminiscent of some of the early works of artists like Sharon Van Etten and Julia Jacklin. Shimmering guitars and a slow-burn build and powerful vocal performance all add to something fully realized and cathartic.
