Exeter trio Soot Sprite released their debut album, Wield Your Hope Like A Weapon, on May 16th via Specialist Subject Records – which featured a few singles we previously shared.
One of the best moments of the record is the single and title track “Wield Your Hope Like A Weapon”, a track that shines through with the best elements of the band. A raw emotional gut punch that channels a rousing and spirited indie rock quality that brings together the best elements of 90s power pop and 2000s indie rock into something just very much authentic and empathetic.
