Sunset Station, an indie rock band hailing from Salt Lake City, who recently shared their single “Dancing In The Graveyard”” a song described as being “between sorrow and movement” and written after reading Blood Meridian.

The track shares the difference between Joy Division and The Cure, with a blend of post punk and a moody new wave quality. Both brooding and full of life with a danceable nature to it that as the spirit of the 80s alive and well.

Further detailing the single, he adds:

“Dancing in the Graveyard” was written after I finished reading Blood Meridian. The book’s haunting themes of death, memory, and silence stuck with me, and I wanted to capture that feeling through music.
