Houston-based singer-songwriter Cameron Sonnier released his sophomore album, Synchronicity, earlier this year, and is already preparing for the release of its self-produced follow-up, D.I.Y. Paradise.
“Blood I Bleed” is a song about “sadness and longing” that he produced, mixed, wrote, and recorded at home. The track harnesses a blend of lush vibrant psych-folk with an experimental edge to it. There is a bit of a 90s art rock quality to it, that has a heavy feeling on emotion and melancholy – as Sonnier’s work always does.
