Scandinavian folk artist Freyr continues his prolific run with his new single “Abandoned Places”, his first bit of new music since 2021.
“Abandoned Places” features that classic folk atmosphere that Freyr has made very much into his own on past releases, yet it also ruminates on a new journey. There is a haunted quality to the track which adds a new dimension to Freyr’s already quite captivating sound.
Or as the song is described as “a classic call and response between an angel and devil as they struggle with love.”
