Crushed is the Los Angeles-based duo of Bre Morell and Shaun Durkan who gained attention last year based off of their debut single “Waterlily.’ They’re preparing for the release of their debut EP, extra life, which will be released on February 10.
They’ve since hit back with another single which will appear on the EP, “Coil.” The track splits the difference between bedroom pop and dream pop/indie rock with a wistful feeling of melancholy that is overwhelming in the best way possible. It feels like a track that your crush would have included on a mixtape to you back in the 90s.
