The Dead Shakers are an acid-washed vegan rock band from Burlington, Vermont, who recently returned with their new album Some Shapes Reappear.
“My Life” is a song that the band wrote with Sam Snyder (of Overhand Sam) before the pandemic in late 2019. The track harnesses a classic psych rock sound, with a bit of a modern colorful tint, reminiscent of some of the mid-career work of MGMT. Smart and artful with psych grooves blending with undeniable smart pop hooks.
