Toronto-based musician Chris Veres has returned with the latest track from his Finding Illinois project, the lovely single “Reflection”, which is the title track from an album of the same name.
The song coasts by cooly with a shimmering indie and gentle folk performance with a meditative and melancholic feeling in the air. What comes to mind when listening is a bit of an expansive War On Drugs sound with a more electronic rooted basis of production, blending dreamy vocals and psych/folk rock into one winning combination.
