Don’t look now, but The Wombats have been one of the few mid-2000s NME-era British indie rock bands that have persisted through the initial buzz and really made an impressive career for themselves.
The band just returned with their fifth studio album Fix Yourself, Not the World on January 14th (released via AWAL) and have been touring in support of it here stateside, impressively avoiding any covid related cancellations.
On January 25th the band made their return for a performance in New York, returning to Terminal 5 – where we last saw them perform, way back in 2018.
