Modern Nomad is the recording project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Tom McLean, who is preparing the release of his new album There It Is, There You Are, which will be released on October 29th.
McLean wrote, produced, and recorded the record in his home studio in Maryland from 2020-2021 and focus on his long-distance relationship.
“Electrify” is the expansive lead single on the album which will do well with those who miss the sound that Tame Impala delivered on their first few records. This is a blend of classic psych-rock with modern pop sensibilities and a bit of an intimate homemade style that is a part of the charm that works so well with the sound he is striving for here.
