Henry Nowhere, who has earned tons of praise on these here pages for his jangly dream indie-rock offerings has turned the page a bit on his recently released single “Wonder Why.”
The elements of that sound are still very much in the center of the song but he offerings a bit more of an electronic element than he has in the past. As he describes it:
“I started this song live on Twitch, building off of the (homemade) sample you hear at the beginning of the track. The chorus melody really soars and lifts the listener to the climactic ending section. This lush, emotional ballad is a continuation of my commitment to monthly releases.”
There is still a powerful dreamy and emotional punch there, just seen through a different – and welcome – lens.
