Having relocated from Australia to the U.K., rock band Gang Of Youths has kicked off their new era as a band, redefining their creative process and sound. They have given fans a first taste of this era with the release of new single “the angel of 8th ave.”

The band channel classic Britist post punk and rock with a synth sound that compliments their chugging anthemic sound that feels like a glorious cross between Springsteen and U2. It was entirely self-produced in their own studio and is described as being about “falling in love, and finding a new life in a new city together.”

The single release comes with a music video which sees the band wandering the streets of North London. It was directed by Joel Barney and can be found posted below.
