Japanese indie rock duo KLEPTO has returned with their new single “let me down” a worthy follow-up to their previously released single “The Newest.”
The track is a shimmering ode to rock legends of the past with a youthful kick and energy that charms you every minute of its brisk and winning runtime. It channels bands like The Strokes, The Libertines, all with a sound that somehow manages to feel fresh and full of exuberant amounts of life. They may be from Japan but quite frankly the duo is making more American sounding rock than most of the bands over here.
