Afflecks Palace is a Manchester-based indie rock group that takes influences from acts like The Stone Roses, The Smiths, and The Durutti Column. Following their first two EPS which were released last year, the band is gearing up to release their debut album What Do You Mean It’s Not Raining.

Leading the charge is the lead single “This City is Burning Alive” is a track that channels the primal energy of 90s brit rock and psych with the dreamy shoegaze atmosphere of modern acts like DIIV. There is a jangly spirit to the guitars that blends perfectly with the fast-paced hammer-like energy of the rest of the instrumentation which picks it all up and slams it on its head in an epic confident fashion.
