Glasgow-based dance-punk rockers Mickey 9s won us over back in March with their single “Full American” and they hit back in an equally thrilling fashion on “Raw,” a song that they say, “explores the darkest parts of our modern sexuality.”
The track, taken from their upcoming album Modern Kunst, once again tends towards both a very much raw punk side with a sweet funky dance groove that feels like part Viagra Boys, part LCD Soundsystem, but also it’s own thing entirely. It’s a certified banger.
