With some sense of “normalcy” heading our way as we trek deeper into 2021, Governors Ball has announced their 2021 lineup, which is also the 10th anniversary of the festival. The festival will take place on Friday, September 24th through Sunday, September 26th, this year at Citi Field in Queens.
The three main hadliners are Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, and Post Malone, along with DaBaby, Rufus Du Sol, J Balvin, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, and Ellie Goulding. The rest of the lineup is rounded out by Leon Bridges, Phoebe Bridgers, Porutal. The Man, Future Islands, Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist, King Princess, Big Thief, Young Thug, Carley Rae Jepsen, Jamie XX, Duck Sauce, Bachelor (Jay Som + Palehound), Orville Peck and Bartees Strange.
It’s a much more pop and hip-hop festival this time around, even more so than it has been trending towards in recent years. The festival is also back to all ages, a shift from the change to 18+ that will hopefully return in 2022.
Tickets for the festival go on sale Thursday, May 6th at noon right here, with limited tickets for sale as a part of the Citi pre-sale.
