Corvair, the Portland-based team of Heather Larmier and Brian Naubert, have shared the music video for “Oceansided,” the triumphant opener from their recently released self-titled debut album.
The duo capture a power-pop anthemic sound that has a classic rock inspired guitar riff and some colorful electronics guiding it towards the present. Imagine AC/DC mixed with Mates of State or The New Pornographers.
The music video for the track was directed, shot and edited by the band and filmed in Oceanside, Oregon, where the song and much of the album was also written.
