Bobcat Rob & The Nightly Howl is the project of Santa Cruz-based songwriter who has released his classic rock-influenced new single “Popcorn Lung.”
The enthusiastic track has all the trademarks of some classic songwriting from the big anthemic classic rock vocals to the jangly and twangy psychedelic guitars that are bristling with color and life. Feels like a song that is previewing some hopefully better days in the summertime.
About the track, Rob says:
It’s mostly satire, but also with the message of being care-free, having fun and doing what you want with the time that you got.
