British singer-songwriter Katy J Pearson released her debut album Return in November via Heavenly Recordings.
The lovely record went slightly under the radar over here, which is a shame considering it features tracks like the heavenly “Beautiful Soul.” It carries the emotional weight and smarts of a fragile folk offering but comes fitted for the occasion with a lovely lyric video that was created by Raissa Pardini.
About the track Pearson said:
“Beautiful Soul is a song of love and appreciation for anybody you love dearly who may be going through a shit time and needs to hear that nothing is ever permanent. As my mum always says, ‘this too shall pass’.”
