South London’s Tugboat Captain will release their debut album Rut due next week via Double A-Side Records. A few weeks ago we shared the album track “Day To Day” and today we hit back with another offering with “Everything About You.”
It’s a bit of a psych-leaning jangly rocker with some trippy arrangements and a bit of a Twin Peaks like swagger to it that is playful yet confident at the same time. The song focuses on “frontman and protagonist Alexander Sokolow desperately trying not to be the downer at a party and doing his best to divert attention away from himself.”
