L.A. Salami has proven time and time again that he’s an artist not bound by a single genre and he continues this trend of his new single “The Cage.” The track will appear on his upcoming album The Cause of Doubt & A Reason To Have Faith, due out on July 17th via Sunday Best Recordings.
“The Cage” feels timely with all that is happening now, as he mixes elements of hip-hop and jazz with a flow that does remind a bit of Mike Skinner of The Streets. The combination of the vocals with the forward-thinking production works to delightful results.
