Pizza Daddy is the London-duo of Ross Pearce & Mike Stothard, who took a break from their previous band Boys to start the new project together.
“Too Many Boyfriends” is the duo’s latest single, a track that features some shimmering shoegazy guitar work, that soar high in the sky with some dreamy vocals that tie it all together in a confident and melancholic fashion. It feels like a sprawling sort of rocker you’d hear during the Brit Pop heyday.
Discussing their new single the band stated:
The song was written about a friend of ours who was dating a girl he really liked, but he kept mentioning he felt like she was dating other people behind his back and had “Too Many Boyfriends”. He was doing exactly the same behind her back so we didn’t understand where he was coming from, in the end it all worked out fine and they are now officially together
