Rutti is the project of New Yorker Sam Stein, formerly of New York band Lazy Bones. He recently released his debut single “The Future Is Fake” and today we are here to share it’s b-side, “Waste.”
The track channels a lot of the classic 80s inspired shoegaze and dream rockers that so many of us hold so dear to our hearts. The track was the first one that he wrote upon leaving NYC in mid-March to spend time alone upstate in the tiny town of Honeoye. The track captures the essence of what so many of us are going through right now in this scary time and does so with a sonic sound that captures all of our uncertainty.
