Scottish indie outfit Yakima capture the essence of 90s Britrock with an effortless charm on their brand new single “It Helped,” taken from their debut EP Go Virtually, due for release via Moshi Moshi Records. The track was produced by Benji Compston and Jon EE Allan of Happyness who also lends their vocals.

The track sounds like a cool summer day spent sprawled out on a field with some good food and company by your side, a welcome image right now in the heart of a New York winter over here.

Find “It Helped” streaming below and stay tuned for the band’s upcoming new EP later this year.
